We're going to be getting rid of the Blogger site for Ekta Dist!

Instead, we are going to be making a load of updates to the Ekta site instead and integrating the Dist into it.

So thanks for being here for us dear "Blogger" we'll miss you?

The new Dist will be up and running with all new PDF catalogs for you to download and all new product updates, helping to streamline everything into one place. All this will be sorted by the end of Feb 2012

Haze Wheels - Are in!

We had the first drop of Haze Wheels arrive this week!
They're now available at finer UK skate shops!
We'll be growing Haze in the UK over the coming year, we now have a great all-round UK team featuring the following riders.

Welsh Tommy, Rhys Meek, Dave Wallace and Max Hawke. All of the UK riders are working on a UK team edit for Haze, which will be dropping in the new year.

The Chinese bloke and wife were bloody annoying, if only we had Godzilla there to help us...
He did sell us Sir Quacker's but he was everywhere we went for beers, and still tried to sell us more crap...

Sir Quacker's became our mascot for the entire trip!!! He even came out for beers.

After what seemed like an eternity of walking to the Blues rails and then getting busted by the cops, then getting kicked out of another spot with the cops looking around for us; we headed back to the city, if we had of known that this was a 8 mile round trip, I think we would of got a Taxi.....
After a long walk, what more required than a quick rest while G-Tank goes for the stair gap...

I don't think the Spanish have really grasped the idea of what Advertising for an aquarium should resemble, in this case a really shit eighties B-Movie......

EKTA IN MALAGA - PART FOUR, GOD DAMN ROZZA'S

The Rozza's in Barcelona are one thing to look out for, we had no problems with them on the first day here in Malaga, in fact a couple of them watched us and the locals skating the main plaza and seemed to be quite stoked.

Well if you go up to the other side of the city towards the beaches and the expensive sky-rise apartments it's a completely different story....
While Matt was setting up the camera, he managed to film two cops walking towards us from their mopeds, bad idea for sure, after a load of Spanish jibba jabba and half an hour later they literally told us to Fuck Off out here and they didn't want to see us again.

At least they didn't take our boards though...

Any how we found Derek chillin out here though!

The first day like any other is one hell of a long day, getting up early to get to the Airport, dealing with all of the airport security rubbish, making sure you've got everything you need to take on the flight with you. Surviving Ryan Air's shoddy landings, hoping your bag turns up in one piece or turns up at all, getting transport into the city, trying to find where your staying and after all of this confusion go for a skate.....and have a few beers....

MALAGA - Part Two point Five - Matt's Ankle of Doom

I somehow completely forgot to mention that before we left to go to Malaga to start filming for the new video, our filmier Matt (Matt Hunt) managed to completely destroy his ankle, only four days before hand...
From what Matt said, he was trying to Bigspin off some drop at Truro Plaza and yep you guessed it, completely mangled his ankle.... Luckily it wasn't broken, just a little bit of bruising and some torn ligaments.... Nothing too major to worry about!!!

Cheers Matt your a legend for even coming along, let alone filming all day every day..
All of those evening beers and pain killers definitely helped a treat...

Why is it that Ryan Air, even though it's really cheap, it still feels like it's going to pull up at some plane station in the sky or some shitty service station...

While I fell asleep Rhys, Gareth, Max and Matt enjoyed the pleasures of flying first class with Ryan Air's cheap beers at Zimbabwean prices...£5 for a crappy little can, or a hot dog and a piece of stale bread for £4...stoked.....

While I'm having to work out how the hell to make my bag 7Kg's lighter, or in Ryan Air language £160.... Lewis and Neil are having beers...

After finally working out how to sort out the problem the next step was getting to the bloody plane on time... Due to some annoying posh family and young Sebastian's bloody apple juice, I got held up at the security scanner counter with the camera bag.

With the final boarding call going out for our flight, things didn't look too good to get on the plane in time. After hassling the security guard I finally got the hell out there and we even made the plane on time, we thought we were the last people to board....hell no!

MALAGA - Part One... Escape from the UK

Here's the first entry on our first filming trip for the new video, I've had to rape Facebook to get hold of some of these photo's... I'm gonna keep the write up on this pretty minimal, except where it's needed, if it's needed at all.

Day one - wake up at 5am, phone call of Max at 5:30 am, get picked up at 5:40 am, phone Matt at 6 am, pick Matt up at 6:15 am avoid the ice on the road....

Further up North, Neil and Lewis have made their way to Liverpool Airport for their flight at 10 am.

Rhys and Gareth leave Bridgend in Wales to meet us at Bristol International for half 10 or something....

This is the second board of the three part series that Murdoch has designed for next year, this board is simply known as "Zombies" we think it's rad just like old eighties horror movies.

Available only in 8. The amount of detail in this board is pretty ridiculous, can't wait for the real version.

Here's a sneak peak at one of the new boards by Australia's very own Murdoch Stafford available in January 2010. This is just one of the boards from the series by Murdoch, all of the boards will becoming with a special top logo as well!

The series will only be available in 7.75, 8.00 and 8.25.

I would just like to apologize for the absolute lack of any type of updates! firstly the MAC died, well it committed suicide I reckon. But after a few days of fixing it and up loading all of the software applications, it's the Return of the MAC!

FALL AND WINTER 09 PRODUCTS!

I've finally managed to getting around, to finishing the Fall and Winter products page.
The entire series of boards will be available for mid November, including a Limited edition version of the French Rampage board. (there's only gonna be 100 of these, so make sure to get one when they come out!)

The web site is also being updated as well, as some changes have been made to the team.

Drizzle and Festival in Bristol = Anger management

We went up to Bristol last week on Friday, to start filming for the new video. The plan was simple, hook up with Rhys and get some stuff done, however due to a festival taking place at Lloyds this idea went completely out of the window.

Trying to film in a City during a Friday isn't really the best idea, especially when you might only have five minutes at a spot before the security guard decides to ruin your plans even more.
We did manage to film a couple of bits and bobs, which will be up loaded on here later this week, just looks like we're going to have to make the grand voyage back up soon, to get back on track.

Here's the two new board graphics, that French designed for us.We're stoked to have them finally in stock.
We hope you enjoy them, I personally prefer the ACE board, but the Rampage graphic is also sick though.
Each board is available in two sizes and are made here in the UK by the two legends, that are Joel and Ken from AThirdFoot, so you know this is some damn good quality shit.

The Rampage graphic, is available in 7.5 & 7.75.
The Ace graphic is available in 7.75 &8.

We did a LTD run of 8.25 in both graphiks, but when they're gone, they're gone.
